The Quinta do Cortiço is a vast 5.8 hectare (14 acre) smallholding located completely on its own, hidden away in beautiful surroundings 1.5 km from the village of Quintas da Torre where there is a café / bar and small general store and a 20 minute car ride to the market town of Fundão.

There are over 100 olive trees, 60 good cork oak trees, a lot of mimosa trees that can be thinned for winter fire wood. The big open fields provide more than ample scope for animal keeping (horses, sheep, goats etc) and for vegetable growing, plus there are plenty of spots where yurts, tipis or caravans could be put.
